Description
Sant'Anna ChurchThought to have been built in the first half of the 17th century, it was the property of the Mautino family, and had a wooden fence and an entrance door between brick pillars. The chapel, located in an area of the town still known as “Bioletto”, has kept its original structure, which is typical of all the local chapels.
The interior has a single central nave with a barrel vault; the semicircular apse creates the effect of a simple frame around the beautiful icon, in its original state and still standing on the altar, representing the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Ann, St. Francis and St. Carl.
Viewing the church from outside, it is possible to note the small front porch, the buttresses of the apse´s external walls and the very simple bell tower.
